session examines the strategic planning process.
It begins with a discussion of vision and mission
statements—how they differ and how they
support one another. The Facilitator then discusses
goals, objectives, and strategies, showing how
each supports the other. The session ends with
a look at how managers can track success. While
available as a “theory” session, these
concepts are best understood in context, so the
recommended approach is to incorporate these concepts
into an actual planning session that produces
a useful document for the organization.
