| This
session gives participants the skills they need
to become more effective meeting facilitators.
It offers an overview of the art of facilitation
and provides specific tools that can be used to
help groups generate ideas and make decisions.
Learners then receive meeting topics and are given
time to design facilitation plans. Each learner
then leads a facilitated discussion and receives
individualized feedback from other group members
and from the trainer. (NOTE: This session requires
at least one and one-half days to allow enough
time for learners to plan and implement the practice
sessions.)
