is the key determinant of successful change. This
session is designed to help managers better understand
the effects of change on the staff who must actually
implement the change and what they as leaders
can do to facilitate the change process. Attendees
will look first at our "natural" reaction
to major change and then will explore how these
individual reactions result in institutional resistance
to doing things differently. The session ends
with some practical tips on what leaders must
do to ensure effective implementation of change.
